3. Slug
We are one-celled creatures, moving together, drawn by chemical attractions, to form a
central mass, a cone-shaped conglomeration of many of us amoebae, at once individual and
working as one.
The cone becomes top-heavy and it collapses. Now a slug shape, a grex, we are like a
much bigger creature, creeping along the ground.
We move, oh so slowly, on the earth. As a slug we make our way towards a new life,
seeking for the place to form our future.
In micro-gravity it is almost impossible to move. In space we stick to filter pads,
failing to move at all.
